Loan Report - July 30th/31st
As part of a new weekly series here at TipperaryHoops.com, we will have a look at how Shamrock Rovers' loanees across the League of Ireland are getting on with their respective clubs.
1. Brandon Kavanagh (Bray Wanderers)
Cabinteely 0-3 Bray Wanderers
Stradbrook, Friday July 30th

Brandon has spent the first-half of the 2021 League of Ireland season on-loan at Gary Cronin's Bray Wanderers side, and will finish out the season at the Carlisle Grounds. Kavanagh has set the First Division alight so far this season, showcasing his talents across the country.
Brandon continued his fine form with another impressive performance on Friday night away to Cabinteely FC at Stradbrook in the capital, netting his fourth goal of the season in the process.
Brandon scored late on in Bray's 3-0 win, before being substituted after he scored on the 87th minute mark, as the seagulls now find themselves on a six game unbeaten run. Next up for Wanderers is a First Division game at home to Wexford FC next Friday night, with a 7:30pm kick-off.
2. Dean Williams (Longford Town)
Longford Town 0-2 Derry City
Bishopsgate Stadium, Saturday July 31st

Dean Williams spent the first-half of the 2021 season with Shamrock Rovers, but found game time hard to come by with Aaron Greene and Rory Gaffney ahead of Williams in the pecking order. Dean has recently gone on loan to Premier Division strugglers Longford Town during the League of Ireland Summer transfer window for the remainder of the 2021 season.
Williams played the full ninety minutes as a lone striker in Longford's 2-0 defeat at home to Derry City on Saturday night, as former Hoop Danny Lafferty and Junior Ogedi-Uzokewe condemned the midlanders to their 13th league defeat in just 22 games.
Dean has started his Longford career well, hassling the opposition defences and giving Longford a real goal threat - something they have lacked all year. Next up for Williams and his Longford side is a trip to Tallaght to take on the current Premier Division Champions Shamrock Rovers on Sunday, 8th August. It is unsure as to whether Williams will be permitted to play or not against his parent club.
3. Darragh Nugent
Longford Town 0-2 Derry City
Bishopsgate Stadium, Saturday July 31st

Similarly to Williams, Darragh Nugent found it difficult to get game time for Stephen Bradley's Shamrock Rovers side in the opening-half of the League of Ireland Premier Division season and opted to join Longford Town along with Dean Williams to get minutes into his legs for the remainder of the 2021 season.
Darragh has started twice for Daire Doyle's men since his arrival, netting a spectacular outside-of-the-foot goal against Bangor GG in the Extra.ie FAI Cup 1st Round last weekend.
Darragh was absent from Longford's two-nil defeat to Derry City on Saturday night, as Longford Town remain at the foot of the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division table.
